Welcome to the Teleteaching Tool development center

Download the 2009/10/25 Version of the TTT from  here (Platform independent) resp.  here (Windows only).

The teleteaching tool is an application for recording and postprocessing lectures. Development of the TTT started at  Universität Trier by Peter Ziewer, and is continued here at TUM. It offers Screengrabbing, audio and video recording of arbitrary lectures or presentations. During lecture mode, all programs that You start will are recorded. You can use paint tools to annotate the whole screen in lecture mode:

As a student, You can download the recorded lectures, and replay them at home on Your computer with the TTT:

The recorded talks can be converted not only into TTT's proprietary lossless format, but also into flash applets or .mp4 video podcasts, and downloaded e.g.  here.

You can read all about using the TTT as a student, a teacher or an assistant in the User Documentation!

Known bugs:

  • Text annotation tool sends shortkeys to underlying VNC server application

  • Integrate RSS feeds into client program
  • Design a logo
  • Clean up package structure
  • Check whether headless mode works with Lame&MP4 and document, how it works
  • Work on stability issues
  • Restore/cycle through old annotations for old slides
  • Evaluate Monkey's Audio JMAC as codec for audio
  • Evaluate  IBMs MP4 encoder
  • Evaluate JMC progress as future media interface
  • Maintain webpage in SVN
  • Integrate Wii-Mote control

If You are interested, in how the TTT works, You can download and compile the TTT, following Compilation howto!
